Sony Walkman is not being detected

I have recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and it's not detecting my Sony Walkman NWZ-W252 when connected to my PC.

There is no device detected in Device Manager. Only the charging light blinks but to no use. I have made the Reset but in vain.

There are no issues related to Windows 7 OS and detection specified on the main website of the product. Once it's connected to the computer, no matter the Windows version, it should be installed as a Mass Storage device. This driver is available on all major Windows versions. Please check the corresponding cable.
