Is Samsung Galaxy Note 2 able to read RFID tags?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I'm wondering if it is able to read RFID tags?

Advanced Galaxy products have a feature called NFC which is used to read data tags from supported devices. You can find this option in the Menu > Settings > More Settings. You might need to update the firmware on your device for maximum compatibility. The update is done through Samsung Kies, the official software for Samsung devices.
