My web camera stopped working after an update

I have a Packard Bell laptop EasyNote LS and the laptop has a video Web Cam. Cyberlink sent me an update and then the whole web camera stopped working. However it does work with Skype, but I can't open it as I could before the update. Should I now just delete it? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see a way why Cyberlink would interfere with your webcam. The problem has been caused by some other application, but if you believe that this has something to do with Cyberlink then you can perform the uninstallation of the Cyberlink update and observe the behavior of the webcam.
