Patches are applied by the system administration. Since this is a bit complicated and it requires extensive knowledge because in most of the cases, problems may appear. Usually, the process of patching is done automatically with installers which contain everything. User interaction is limited because since Sage products are complicated, a simple choice could ruin everything. Please contact your system administrator and ask him how to update the software.
