Problems with reinstalling Gold Imaging

I installed Gold Imaging and then uninstalled it. Now I'm trying to re-install and get the following error:

"Please run this Gold Imaging program at least once from the Start Menu or the Desktop Shortcut. This will initialize the program so that all its resources can be located. Once initialized, you may run the program by simply inserting the CD and letting it auto-start, or double-clicking the CD drive icon in My Computer."

I can't run it from the Start Menu or Desktop Shortcut because neither exists.

Please advise.

You will need to open Registry Editor in order to eliminate the remains of the keys related to the software. Once you do that insert the CD and install it again or run the setup package. As the error says, it is necessary to keep the CD inserted all the time if you want the software to run properly.
