I can't unlock the files encrypted by Fingerprint

When I formatted my PC and installed Windows Vista, I tried to unlock the encrypted files, but the software tells me that I am "not an authorized user". The thing is that I am the owner of the files and I locked these files using my Fingerprint. How can I open it since I don't have a backup password or the fingerprint passport?

If you did not set up another alternative way to unlock your files then I believe these files are lost forever.
