MP4 video and audio are perfectly synced on my laptop, but when I burn them using Freemake (purchased only days ago) the video and audio are badly out of sync

I purchased the Freemake Mega Pack following a trial period, this week. During the trial period I noticed that burned files were out of sync but managed to lock audio and video tracks on an NCH trial program, save then burn using Freemake. I don’t want to have to buy another program when I shouldn’t have to, and the trial period for the program I was using to lock tracks has expired. The video and audio are out of sync anywhere from noticeable to unwatchable (say 0.5 second video lag). Please explain to me the steps I should take to ensure that video and audio tracks are locked using Freemake so I can enjoy watching my burned DVD-Rs with perfectly synced audio and video. The files I have been burning are from a variety of sources, mostly purchased from legitimate vendors, and are mainly (not exclusively) MP4s.

It seems like the user is experiencing issues with audio and video being out of sync when burning MP4 files using Freemake Video Converter. To ensure that the video and audio tracks are locked and synced properly, try converting the files to a different format before burning them. You can also try adjusting the settings in Freemake Video Converter to see if that helps resolve the issue. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Freemake's customer support for further assistance.

Thanks for the suggestion. It might be a moot point now. I emailed Freemake support ans well, and must have got an AI response. I was instantly informed I’ll be reimbursed for my purchase and the case is now finalised. This would not have taken a minute, way too quick for it to be a human response.
