Huawei says it won't produce any new cordless or landline phones with Viber, but appears to be following the lead of ZTE and exiting the cordless phone with Viber market in Canada and the US.
"Huawei will no longer introduce new cordless or landline phone with Viber models in Canada and the US market," a company spokesperson told Softpedia. Surprisingly, no new model during 2023.
Huawei launched its last cordless phones with Viber in 2022 and didn't add any new models to its lineup in 2023. A landline phones with Viber for 2024 along the lines of its other models was in the works, a Zhengfei report says, but has now been scrapped.
