EPSON Scan OCR Component doesn't work

Question

Hi, from Epson Software Support (Epson Stylus DX8450 page) I downloaded and installed the two distinct product "EPSON Scan (v3.2b)" and "EPSON Scan OCR Component (v3.00.05)" but when I run "Epson Scan" software I can't see any option labeled "OCR" or "Text Recognition".
Any suggestions are appreciated.

It seems like there might be an issue with the installation of the OCR component. I recommend checking the installation process again and ensuring that the OCR component is properly installed. Additionally, you may want to try reinstalling the OCR component to see if that resolves the issue.
