Driver for Windows 8 regarding a USB dongle

My ZTE wireless terminal on EV DO CDMA (AC8700 CDMA2000 1X EV-DO Wireless Data Terminal) seems to be connecting very slowly on Windows 8. Is there any new driver available?

It's a surprise you've managed to get it to work in Windows 8 because the official drivers and software work only on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The problem with connections is related to the signal. If you are in a zone with low signal, you will experience slow connecting times and speeds.
