Do have a happy user and payer and was very sad?

I've been a happy user and payer since about 2011 and was very sad when it shutting down. Why do all my best liked consumer electronics go out of business - Sanyo, Compaq, Sony Ericsson and now Samsung? Samsung is so stable and so solidly versatile for all business but the company will plans to focused on smartphones instead.
