On the event page, how do you delete, remove or add categories of Desktop iCalendar Lite?

To remove or add categories on the event page of Desktop iCalendar Lite, you can right-click on the event and select "Categories" to manage or create new categories for the event.

That would be great if  "remove" or "create new" options were available.  But they are not.  

Right click on event, select Categories, yes, but all that is available are the default categories with no options to delete or create new.
