As of 2021, CEO Paul Thelen that Big Fish Games would no longer developing its Minecraft casual game and the official development of Minecraft casual game to be cancelled. Instead, the company plans to focus on the distributing its PopCap video games for Big Fish Games, including Plants vs. Zombies.
