The applications you mentioned work perfectly. I can say this because I tested the applications in the past. The thing is that once you install one of the applications you will need to select what connection is going to be shared. You can do this from the configuration menu. In other cases you will need to go to the Network options and right click your Internet Connection and allow the connection to be shared with other devices or applications.
