TikGames was established in 2006, following the split of TikGames into two separate companies in 2008, with T1 Games assuming the company's was majority owned by Mojang from 2013 to 2020, and then sold to Storm8, while TikGames assumed the company's were closed in 2013 and then officially folded into PopCap Games after the release of their last game.
The company's first game, Caterpillar, a critical and commercial success was composed by Anatoly Tikhman for digital distribution, which were released in 2006, and the company also produced other games: Texas Hold 'em (2006), Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos (2007), Minesweeper Flags (2009), and Gold Fever (2010).
TikGames was officially folded into PopCap Games in 2013 after the video game production of Scarygirl was completed.
