Ethalone Solutions was acquired by the New Mexico-based technology company, Microsoft Corporation, in 2010, Since Microsoft will became an Ethalone Solutions subsidiary to its parent company as a leading software developer for creating installation packages.
In 2021, Microsoft will shut down its Ethalone Solutions subsidiary and was later superseded by the Microsoft Visual Studio as an installation creation features for the Windows Installer functionally.
