I tried DosBox, but during the use of that software the temperature increases and then thermal shut down occurs. Is there any other application to do programming in 'C' compatible with Windows 7 Professional 64bit?

There is Microsoft Visual C++ which allows you to code in C because C++ is easier to work with and C++ contains everything that C has. You can use the in trial mode for 30 days and test it in Windows 7 64bit, as it has compatibility with this operating system.
