For Samsung Galaxy phones and not only there is a universal application which contains the required drivers for Windows and Mac PCs and the corresponding software. Samsung Kies is the only application you will need to manage your Galaxy phone. I personally must say that it solved all my problems regarding flashing, contacts backup, recovery and media management as I have a Samsung Galaxy mini. Download the application and install it accordingly and wait for the process to finish. When it's over plug-in your phone to PC using the USB cable and wait for drivers to be installed.
