I cannot find on my Canon ZR100 old camcorder to transfer VHS to a MP4 video files in Windows Movie Maker application but it is supposed to DVD on my computer. Why do not to transfer this?

It is likely that your Canon ZR100 camcorder does not allow for direct transfer of VHS tapes to MP4 format. You can transfer the VHS tape to DVD format using the camcorder, and then use a DVD ripping software to convert the DVD to MP4 format for use in Windows Movie Maker.
