While you do the scanning procedure, just increase the DPI settings before actually you press the scan button. Once you do this, the image will be scanned to a higher resolution giving you the possibility to print it larger or to manipulate it easier in your favorite photo editor. Also, when you print you have the possibility to preview the output of the printing. From the same windows you can zoom in or out and print it just the way you like it.
