In Aimsun, do you need a path assignment file for micro simulation when creating a dynamic user equilibrium (DUE) type of dynamic traffic assignment (DTA)?

I’m trying to create a DTA (Due) type of micro simulation. Most of DTA available resources are recommended to use stochastic route choice. And I’m having a difficult time knowing what is needed or not needed for DUE DTA. I greatly appreciate any help on this topic. Thank you!
