Why do I get an error message when trying to run download?

iholdemindicatorinstaller.pkg can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. The software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information

This error message is not spam. It is a security feature of Apple's MacOS. To fix this, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and click "Open Anyway" next to the message about iHoldem Indicator. Contact the developer for more information if needed.
