How can I update version 9.3 to fit enough characters for codes?

I have noticed that some of the ICD 10 codes in the October, 2022 update have too many characters to fit in the space of my current version (9.3). Can I update it without losing all the data on my patients, ICD-10 code lists, etc?

You will need to check with the software provider if there is an update available to accommodate longer ICD-10 codes. Updating the software should not delete any patient or code data, but it is recommended to back up all important data before proceeding with the update.
