The links inside the email works just fine. I have created and activated an account successfully without any problems. Once you are in the email, hover your mouse over the activation link and click the right button. Then select Copy Url / Copy Link Address and open a new browser window by pressing CTRL+N, click inside the address bar and use the same right button. Use Paste, press Enter and your account will be activated.
If it doesn't help, please create another account because the links can be expired.
