Unable to install Sierra with the "patcher". What am I doing wrong?

I have a Retina mid 2015 running High Sierra and the "patcher" will do every thing wright, but when rebooting using the "alt" the computer runs to he middle of the screen and stops there.
I downloaded the earlier version, no the latest.What am I doing wrong..? Please let me know.

If you are attempting to install macOS Sierra with the patcher, you may need to download the latest version of the patcher. If this does not work, you may need to try a different method of installation.

You're Already running High Sierra. Why are you trying to run an older OS? Maybe thats the problem!
