Weather eye on my windows 7 quit working and can't get it to work again. What can I do?

I keep getting this message on weather eye "Seems to be an issue retrieving the latest data Please check your connection and try again." I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times and it still does not work. I'm using Windows 7. Ive been using the program for many years and all of a sudden it stopped working back in July and I cant get it working again.
