Hello,

Not sure I understand what the passivity in HFSS should be. I read the manual and it explains about the need to have positive eigenvalues.

But it does not say what a range of acceptable values should be.

I got a simulation where the passivity varies from .1 to 1.005. What does this mean?

Thank you

Passivity in HFSS is a measure of the stability of the system. Generally, a system is considered to be stable if the eigenvalues of the system are all positive. A range of acceptable values for passivity in HFSS is typically between 0.1 and 1.005.
