Can you please tell me why this software would give a message it found nothing when I know there’s files on my CF card?

This is the first time I’ve used Rescue Agent for recovery. My Compact Flash card for my Cannon camera something happened. I tried to get my photos, couldn’t. So I download a program to try free to see if there was anything on my CF card. It found over 2,000 photos, that company when I contacted them wanted too much money.

Then I remembered our Nero platinum 2018 that had Rescue Agent, It stated it could recover photos from CF card SD card, etc.

I first did the quick scan, Well nothing happened, so I used the deep scan and that went about 15seconds with a statement there’s nothing there. I know there’s photos there, can you please tell me why your software would give a message it found nothing when I know there’s files on my CF card. Cindy

The answer to the question is that the Rescue Agent may not have been able to detect the files on the CF card due to file corruption or the files being stored in an unrecognizable format. It is recommended to try other recovery software to see if the files can be retrieved.
