I'm hopeful you can help me. I'd love to use my iPod Classics actively again. The Retroactive program downloaded and iTunes was installed. But I get the following each time: "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod “Chuck's Backup iPod”. Go to the Summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings." Even after doing just that, still no success. It will also sometimes give me the prompt that the iPod is in use with another program (even though it's not). Is there hope??? THANKYOU!

It is possible that the Retroactive program may not be compatible with the user's iPod or there may be an issue with the iPod itself. They could try reaching out to the developer of the Retroactive program or seeking assistance from a tech support specialist.
