Why doesn't it work on French albums?

Up until recently I have loved your program. I use it to change music albums. Often just to add "." into numbering. Recently when using it on "French" albums none of the files are shown or I receive an error in German that says Datei nicht gefunden. Whatever that means. I don't understand why you program cares what language the files are in. They are in standard english fonts.

It is possible that the program does not recognize certain characters or accents used in French album titles, causing it to not show any files or give an error message.
