VHS Sound won't record. Why?

Question

Using MacBook IOS 10.13 and latest Video glide for VHS digital capture,
Have connected Yellow Red and White terminals and plugged sound into headphone socket on MacBook.
It will not let me select DV sound source and only uses internal mic so does not record sound

Check the sampling bit rate in Videoglide. Try 16 bit and if it fails try 8 bit. HTH
