Error "the program name can't include the following characters: /\:"*?<>|" What's wrong?

Can someone please help? I'm getting this error for 3 days, when I try to schedule a recording. Windows 7 What's wrong? Thanks

First find your CD. Windows 10 - Bottom left-hand corner in search box type 'Control Panel' and select 'Control Panel App'. Select 'Program and Features', Find and Double Click on 'ArcSoft TotalMedia 3.5' you'll have a screen asking if you want to allow changes - select Yes. The next popup box offers three options. Select Modify and Repair. You'll then be asked to insert CD. On completion run 'ArcSoft TotalMedia' and you should find Schedule TV Programs back and working.
