I think I have the same problem. If I run the program in user mode, I don't have privilege to write to the backup directory (and no ability to change it). If I set the program to always start in supervisor mode, it writes to the backup directory just fine, but always asks for permission to change my device before running - and when a scheduled backup time arrives, it waits forever for the user to grant permission. Bottom line - if you do scheduled backups, you can't get a log.
