How to get the scheduler to work?

I used this software for nightly back up on my previous computer for YEARS - no issues. I got a new computer, installed it and set up the scheduler to run nightly, but it's not doing it. I had this issue with a friend's computer as well whom I had recommended this backup tool. Any ideas?
