After installing Windows 8, my Epson scanner is not recognized, although the printer still is.

My printer is Epson Stylus Office TX300F which has always served as a printer, copier and scanner. Tried re-installing the scanner with no results though.

Can you help? Thank you!

As I can see on the support website for the product you have, Windows 8 is available for printer driver only which means that the scanner has no functionality yet, just like you've said. On the other hand, Windows 8 is pretty much like Windows 7, because the OS structure hasn't changed that much and users nowadays use Windows 7 drivers for Windows 8 as a substitute until an official drivers comes out. In this case you should proceed the same. Download the Epson Scan for Windows 7 and install it in Windows 8. If a compatibility windows pops out, simply ignore it and continue installing the software as you should.
