On the other hand, Windows 8 is pretty much like Windows 7, because the OS structure hasn't changed that much and users nowadays use Windows 7 drivers for Windows 8 as a substitute until an official drivers comes out. In this case you should proceed the same. Download the Epson Scan for Windows 7 and install it in Windows 8. If a compatibility windows pops out, simply ignore it and continue installing the software as you should.
