My box won't turn on (can not find eBox camera profile). Why?

My computer was hacked last month. I had to get a new one and all files and information were tansferred over without any problems. All except for one detail with photo box. When I hit the Icon it turns on and lights up except the camera doesn't work. It's asking for the serial number, which I have, but I don't know how to put the number. Forgive me but, I'm very computer challenged. Can someone call me 510-928-3044c
