I've been struggling for a long time with my MacBook overheating. I've changed the thermal paste many times, but the temperature often unexpectedly rose to 90 degrees Celsius. Upon analyzing the processes, I found that the issue was with CMFSyncAgent: it randomly starts to load the processor, causing the laptop to get hot and lose charge. I couldn’t find a solution on forums, only others with the same issue seeking help. My solution to this problem was the App Tamer program; with its help, I limited the resources of this particular process.
