How to resolve the restricted printer problems with docrafts Digital Designer?

I have downloaded docrafts Digital Designer on a replacement computer for my wife. The PC is linked up to a Canon TS5050 printer which works fine for everything apart from Digital Designer. When printing I am not getting the preference option that allows me to select paper type etc. As this is working for everything else on the PC I am hoping that someone can help me with this matter.
