Why does the device ID error appear?

After installation from the website and when burn the program, it gives an error that device ID not found. Why does the device ID error appear?

connect your programmer
1:- select single digit port from device manager => ports
2: right click on your device goto property=>port settings, select single digit port.
if giving Device Id error
change your IC and check again
