anyflip2.pkg will `not install on 2018 MacBook Air Big Sur with 16GB RAM, 1.5GB SSD

As the pkg file is run, it gots through validating, moving, writing, etc. it stops with the banner "The Installation Failed".

It appears that there might be an issue with the installation of "Any Flip" program on a 2018 MacBook Air running Big Sur. The installation fails during the process.
