As the printer has no support for ink pad counter reset utilities, you will need to consult a service support because they have the tools needed for the job.
On the other hand, you could use SSC Service Utility available for Epson printers. You will notice that on the printer supported list there is nothing mentioned about artisan products but you can use Unsupported Model option and if the printer isn't detected then try and perform the reset operation.
