Can I xfer files from my android to my pc?

I have version 5.0.5.7 (and I love it). Apparently it will not recognize my phone when its connected to my pc? I thought I might use Synchromagic to back up my phone.

Same problem here. Synchromagic just cannot navigate to the phone as a drive.
