You can't screenshot manually. You also can't download a screenshot app, because a message appears saying
"Your device doesn't support embedded screenshots and is not rooted. You have to enable screenshot service with ADB"
Android Side:
You have to make sure that USB debugging is checked under the Settings/Applications/Development folder on your phone/
Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging
Desktop Side:
- Install the Android USB driver to your computer
(Download the driver from your phone manufacture support site and follow instructions from there)
-
Download and install desktop application
-
Connect Android phone to the desktop. If you look at your phone and "Turn on USB storage" pops up, ignore it. (Press the back key or home key to leave it)
On the computer side, wait until your phone is registered with previously installed driver.
-
Then, run the application, and activate with installed desktop application. Then disconnect the phone from the desktop.
-
That's it.
NOTE: I am sorry but, every time you reboot your phone you have to re-enable the screenshot service (Steps 3-4) Due to Android security you have to re-enable screenshot service.
So, if you want to screenshot on your Fusion 2 or any other phone that is unable to, you must go through this long process. So good luck, I'm going to go do this now and I'll post how it goes(:
