Your partner uses a newer version of Teamviewer. Would you like to update

asked by about TeamViewer

When I update, it says "Your version of TeamViewer is up-to-date. There is no new version of TeamViewer. It repetitively then says "Your partner uses a newer version . . ." I uninstalled and reinstalled on my Windows XP computer. My laptop and work computer partners use Windows 7, and can communicate with my home computer. But my home XP computer cannot get past this "update" cycle.

Hello!
That is because you are using an older operating system and the latest available version on Windows XP is 14.2, but on your partner's Windows 7 TeamViewer version is 15. You cannot update for this version your TeamViewer and cannot remotely use partner computers with a higher version, but you can get connections from higher versions.
