Even though our users can use an app that turns their user account into an admin account, I still had to login to their PC with my admin account > right-click on desktop icon > select properties > navigate to "Security" tab > under "Users" and "System" permissions, change permissions to "allow" for all options. Open the software while still logged in as Admin. After software successfully opens, you can close it, log back in as the user, and run software successfully. This is what worked for me.
