The CD-ROM contains a software when uses versions of Xacti Software DVD to have been installed:

Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2
Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 (for Xacti HD700), and 4.0 (for Xacti HD800)
Apple QuickTime & iTunes
Xacti Screen Capture
Instruction Manual

This include a CD-ROM for the instruction manual in which it was available as a seperate CD in this box.
