How to post to an empty board?

I removed the test forum from a newly installed BB and then added 3 new categories and some topics in each. When I go to Index, no Categories or Topics show and the message that appears is that the board is empty. I don't see where to enter a new entry.

As far as I know, you need to configure the HOME page of your bulletin board. Make sure that everything you've added is visible.

Also, the categories, topics, posts can be configured to be visible only for certain users (guest, registered, admin, super mod, etc).

Try looking in the documentation section for the BB you've installed because it's everything specified there.
