Based on the requirements displayed when the Open button is used, your movie needs to be in MOV or MP4 format. After you've imported it, tick the My video is spherical (360) and then continue with the operation.
I strongly recommend installing Python2 on your computer before running the Spatial Media Metadata Injector
as it depends on it although the necessary libraries are deployed along with the main program.
