This laptop was released to be compatible only with the Windows 7 operating system, as you can see on the support page provided by the manufacturer.
I don't think it will work with a laptop that doesn't have the correct drivers. HP is pretty restrictive when it comes to such things.
If you continue with the installation of SRS Premium Sound for HP, I would be very careful because drivers can behave in an unexpected way causing errors and crashes.
